BlackBerry. Monitoring and Maximizing Memory.
This tip clearing up a question about free memory on your BlackBerry, which was given from RIM’s BlackBerry Connection newsletter. Also it tell you how to maximize amount of free memory on your smartphone.
Amount of memory: 1. Click to “Options”.
2. Select “Status”:
a) Title “File Free” gives you information about ~ amount of free flash memory, which you can using for saving data. You can restart your smartphone and trigger garbage collection, you will make sure that value is as accurate as possible.
b) Title “File Total field” gives you information about ~ amount of free flash memory, which you can use after loading operating system, basic applications and wireless transceiver.
3. If you want to know how many memory occupied now – complete this directions:
a) Click to “Options” on your screen.
b) Select “Status”.
c) Display the menu and click on “Database Sizes”.
Maximizing your memory: 1. Delete old files.
2. Delete MMS messages.
3. Clear browser cache.
4. Use a media card to store files.
5. Delete features and applications.
6. Minimize a number of contacts.
