3G iPhone II prototype sells on Ebay for $7500.00

According to the popular internet retailer an Apple 3G iPhone II was auctioned off for a record setting $7500. The working 3G iPhone II prototype now holds the online auction record for a cellular phone. The previous record holder was the diamond crusted Nokia 7280 model phone once owned by celine dion.
Apple Computer issued a press release stating the 3G iPhone II prototype was stolen from a parts supplier overseas and smuggled into the US for sale. The missing 3G iPhone II is still the property of Apple Computer and the firm has offered a $55,000 reward for the return of the device.
