We’ve talked about it, guessed when it’s coming and drooled over the possibilities, but finally the N82 clad in a black shiny shroud is amongst us. And what a piece of finery it is. Just look at it’s longing lines, it’s blustering figure and that sheen. You could eat your breakfast off it! Despite our earlier wishes though, the 8GB of storage comes from microSD.
They tell us it’s “made for storytelling”. Just get one and people will start talking and that’s a story all by itself. With A-GPS built in, as well as satnav you get the rather handy geotagging, so you can save your snaps by location - a nice touch for adding shots to Flickr and the like. And of course there’s the five megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash.
The N82 also boasts “ultra-fast camera activation and DVD-like quality video capture”. Storage is handled by microSD so you can squirrel away up to 8GB of snaps, video and tunes.
Expect to see the black N82 in a store near you within weeks.
