Vodafone customers are seeing improved call quality on a number of Virgin trains. Virgin's high speed Pendolino trains have begun using technology that will provide 2G and 3G coverage to its passengers. So far 20 of the 52 Pendolino trains, which travel from London along the west coast to Glasgow, have been rolled out with the service, with Vodafone aiming to enhance the entire fleet by November. Vodafone claims that the number of calls completed without interruption is already up to 60%.
