My favourite Iphone application - iPhysics

2008/04/30

I have been playing around with iPhysics on my iPhone. What a fantastic little program it is. You need to unlock your iPhone however to play this but it is well worth it.

The basics is that you have a ball which reacts to the environment and you have to get the ball to the exit to complete a level. To move the ball, you can draw shapes and drop them onto the ball. Now the clever thing is that the ball reacts as it would in real life.. if you draw a large object and drop it on the ball, then it propels the ball. There are many user levels available and people are constantly adding to it… the ball can fall off a ledge and get stuck. Sometimes you need to devise ways to push your ball up a ramp.. you can do this by dropping a variety of objects on to it. You can draw a line which then connects two points to bridge two areas.

The game is highly addictive and best of all it’s free. You will need to ‘Jailbreak’ your iPhone to play this and then put in the Installer program to get access to it.

I’m sorry if I haven’t made myself clear as I’m too busy playing it but have a look at the videos to see what I’m talking about!
