Samsung i900 Omnia announced in Germany

We already knew that Samsung is planing to lauch i900 Omnia some day this summer, today we got an official date of the lauch: Samsung Germany today unveiled that Samsung i900 Omnia for Germany will be available starting with 6 August, an 8gb i900 will cost in Germany 649 Euro without a contract. Promoted in Germany trough the Slogan “The cellphone that gives everything” (Das Handy, das alles gibt), Samsung i900 Omnia features Windows Mobile 6.1, GSM/GPRS/EDGE and singleband UMTS/HSDPA, for foto and video fans a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and smile detection, has a built in GPS reciever, Wi-fi it is going to be a pleaser to enjoy all this trough the PDA’s 3.2″ WQVGA touch screen.  i900 Omnia has also a built in accelerometer,thanks to it the screen can automatically swith between landscape and portrait mode when the pda is tilted on the side. Possibly the third best PDA after HTC Diamond and iPhone, we’ll find out for sure if it is as good as we expect it to be when we’ll write our first Samsung sgh i900 review.
